AVIATION/ 2 AIRCRAFT COLLIDE AT WARNGAU AIR SHOW

A spectator captured these dramatic images of 2 aircraft colliding at the Oldtimer Flugtage Warngau Air Show in Warngau, Germany, this past Saturday. An Extra 300 and a Xtreme3000 collided during a demonstration flight as part of the Air Show. The Extra crashed in nearby in the village of Warngau and burned completely. The pilot onboard the Extra was killed in the crash, however no one on the ground was injured. The Pilot onboard the Xtreme3000 managed to land the damaged aircraft. The annual Air Show spotlights retro aircraft. German aviation officials are investigating the collision.
