New photos have been released of the recovered DIVI DIVI AIR BN 2A Islander that crashed off the coast of Bonaire on October 22, 2009. As posted yesterday, investigators were able to recover the Islander late this past week. The Pilot, the sole fatality in the crash, was found in the wreckage, still strapped in his seat. Divi Divi Flight 14 was on service from Curacao to Bonaire, with 9 passengers and the Pilot onboard, when it went down off the coast of Bonaire, after suffering engine failure. All 9 passengers survived without suffering any injuries. The Netherlands Antilles Directorate of Civil Aviation is leading the investigation into the crash.
