A ROYAL AIR FREIGHT Learjet 35 crashed early this afternoon in suburban Chicago. Officials have said that 2 Pilots were onboard, and both have been killed in the crash. Royal Air Freight Flight 998 was on Domestic Cargo Service from Pontiac/Oakland County, Michigan, to Chicago Executive Airport, when it went down at 1:30pm, while on final approach into Chicago Executive. The jet crashed into water in the Cook County Forest Preserve. According to the FAA, the jet was in communication with ATC, when contact was lost just prior to the crash.
