MUSIC/ MARS & COLLINS TOP UK CHARTS: Hawaiian artist Bruno Mars tops the UK singles chart this week as "Just The Way You Are" debuts at #1. The single also moved into the penthouse on the US charts this week. Last weeks #1, "Start Without You" by Alexandra Burke, falls to #5. Other new entries on the singles chart include "Focus" by Emmas Imagination in at #7, "I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) by Alex Gaudino in at #10, "Heartbeat" by Enrique Iglesias and Nicole Sherzinger in at #13 and "Pyramid" by Charice in at #17. On the album chart, in a surprise move, "Going Back" by Phil Collins moves up 3 spots into the #1 pole position. Last weeks #1, "Science & Faith" by The Script, falls to #2. New entries on the album chart this week include Manic Street Preachers at #3 with "Postcards From A Young Man," Maroon 5 at #6 with "Hands All Over," Seal at #11 with "Seal 6 Commitment," Black County Communion at #13 with their self titled set, Santana at #15 with "Guitar Heaven," Taio Cruz at #16 with "The Rokstarr Collection" and Usher at #18 with "Raymond V Raymond".

THEATRE/ CRAWFORD IS OFF TO SEE "THE WIZARD": Michael Crawford will return to the London West End stage to play the title role in the new stage version of "The Wizard of Oz" that is being produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who is also writing additional songs with Tim Rice. It will begin performances at the London Palladium February 7, 2011, prior to an official opening March 1. Crawford originated another title role for Lloyd Webber when he starred in "The Phantom of the Opera" in the West End in 1986, and subsequently reprised the role on Broadway in 1988, where he took the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Crawford, who has a lengthy theatrical biography, is also well known for appearing in the film "Hello Dolly" with Barbra Streisand. Crawford joins Danielle Hope, who will play Dorothy after winning the BBC reality TV series "Over the Rainbow" by public vote.

PEOPLE/ CATHERINE WALKER DIES AT 65: The fashion designer Catherine Walker, whose clothes were favored by Diana, Princess of Wales, has died at the age of 65. She passed away at a hospital near her Sussex home on Thursday, following a battle with cancer. She provided Diana with many of her iconic outfits, and the princess was buried in a black Walker dress. Walker 1st worked with Diana 3 months after her wedding to Prince Charles in 1981. In a statement, her family said: "Catherine Walker overcame young widowhood and fought cancer twice with enduring bravery. She built one of the most successful British couture brands and at the same time raised a loving family. Catherine Walker has dressed many of the world's most beautiful women." Walker was named Designer of the Year for Couture at the British Fashion Awards in 1990 and Designer of the Year for Glamour the following year.
