The death toll climbed to 112 overnight, with 123 injured and in hospital. Many of those injured are in very critical condition. Funerals began today for many of the victims, and the country will observe a National Day of Mourning tomorrow. A steady stream of people paid their respects at the scene of the fire today, leaving behind flowers and mementos of those who died. Fireworks are suspected as the main cause of the blaze, but investigators are looking at other possibilities as well, including a possible short circuit. Toxic smoke killed most of the victims. The 5 suspects include owners of the club and the company that provided the fireworks.
