No one onboard a PACIFIC ISLAND SEAPLANES deHavilland THC3 Otter was injured when the aircraft tumbled off the runway and into the water, upon landing in Fiji this past Sunday, December 27. The Otter was on Domestic Service from Nadi to Vomo Island, with 5 passengers and a Pilot onboard, when the incident took place on Vomo Island. A Fiji Government spokesman said the incident has been classifed as an accident and a full investigation will be conducted. The Airline stated that the aircraft has been ferried back to Nadi for a full inspection and repairs.
